Location & Sightseeing
Our hostel is located on Beingasse 13, a quiet street around the corner from Westbahnhof train station. Although, we are situated in a relaxed residential area it couldn’t be more central.
Westbahnhof station offers a huge number of connections. You can access the underground line U3 which brings you to the old town center in 5 minutes as well as the line U6. There are multiple busses, trams, national railway and a direct bus to the airport.
In order to get around, we recommend a multiple-day-pass from the “Wiener Linien” which enables you to use all public transport within the city of Vienna. Find more information on their official website here.
What to see & how to get there
Staying at BeFree you are right in the middle between Vienna’s famous old town center and Schönbrunn palace with its gardens, zoo and palm house.
If you enjoy a good stroll, we recommend to walk to the famous “Ringstraße” which encircles the old town core. Simply cross the main street at Westbahnhof and follow Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna’s largest and most popular shopping street straight into old town. The walk will take you past the “Haus des Meeres” (the aqua zoo) and the well visited museum’s quarter along countless shops and restaurants until you find yourself on Ringstraße, lined with beautiful old buildings, just opposite of Hofburg palace and right in Vienna’s first district!
